Chat copilot

The chat surface handles behavioral questions, culture-fit conversations, and anything else that is really a conversation rather than a problem.

The chat surface mid-answer: the transcribed question at the top and a streaming STAR-formatted response below it.
A behavioral answer streaming in.

Using it

Press 1 to focus the chat surface. Questions reach it three ways: transcribed automatically from meeting audio, appended manually from the transcript with ., or typed into the draft box.

Pick a style before you need it

Answer style changes the shape of every response. Set it in the control bar; you can change it mid-round as the conversation shifts.

StyleWhat it gives you
ConversationalNatural phrasing that sounds like speech, not a document.
HintsA nudge toward the answer. You still do the thinking.
StructuredExplicit reasoning steps, laid out in order.
STARSituation, Task, Action, Result — the behavioral standard.
ExplainPhrased to be read out loud without sounding written.

Grounding

With a resume and job description attached in the setup, answers reference your real experience. Without them you get competent but generic output — which is exactly what an interviewer has heard forty times that month.

Per-thread instructions

Each surface is its own thread, and you can give a thread standing instructions from the control bar — "keep answers under a minute", "assume a staff-level audience", "do not mention my current employer by name". These apply to every response on that thread and sit on top of your answer style, without touching the account-wide custom prompts.

Read it, do not recite it
The strongest use of this surface is to glance at the structure and then say it in your own words. Reading verbatim is audible — the cadence gives it away.
